Well, one way or another I was able to post a photo to my blog and to my Facebook account, but flickr did not work as smoothly for me as I had hoped. I don’t take a lot of pictures personally, but I do use photos to document my quilts. i like the option on flickr to set a license or permissions status for my quilts, some of which are original designs (copyrighted). As for my library, I could see creating an album of photos from our hospital archives, but I would have to arrange permission from our parent institution. As a hospital librarian, who has the time? This project doesn’t have the highest priority. So far, I have found online office tools and social bookmarking most intriguing for my work. This course has been useful for making me take some time to play with these 2.0 resources, but I need to spend more time and thought on them. I hope the readings on the course website stay up after the course ends, so I can go back and read the optional readings I missed before.
